The historical and social importance of mosques was explained to the students.
As part of the Volunteerism course, our Insurance Department students, led by our District Mufti, Mr. Ahmet Kervancıoğlu, visited the Mevlana Mosque in our district for Mosques and Religious Officials Week. During the visit, District Mufti Kervancıoğlu provided information about mosques, their place in social life, and their importance. He shared valuable information about our important mosques, starting with the Quba Mosque, the first mosque in Islamic history, and extending from the Ottoman period to the present day. At the end of the program, the District Mufti presented us with a book.
